Our Team

Roblee Historic Preservation, LLC (RHP) combines trades knowledge and technical analysis to provide preservation planning services that encourage meaningful reuse and revitalization. Guided by four core values; PURPOSE, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, and BALANCE, the firm seeks to use traditional construction knowledge and modern software to help preserve, protect, and enhance historically and culturally significant resources.

RHP staff meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Architectural History and History qualifications (36 CFR 61).

Andrew Roblee, President

Andrew is the founder and President of RHP. With an MA in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University and a BA in History from Wells College, Andy brings extensive training in historic preservation planning and resource evaluation. His ten years in the construction trades enrich his understanding of historic preservation, and subsequent years in the museum and corporate world helped shape his professional outlook.

Andy is the President of the Preservation Association of Central New York (PACNY) and a founding partner of the Circularity, Reuse, Zero-Waste Deconstruction (CR0WD) working group.

Maryam Rabi

Maryam holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Beaconhouse National University in Lahore, Pakistan and a Master’s in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University. With over a decade of experience in urban conservation, particularly in the historic Walled City of Lahore, Maryam has contributed to several prestigious projects. Notably, she played a key role in the conservation of the Shahi Hammam, which earned an Award of Merit at the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2016. Currently, she is developing a Site Management Plan for the World Heritage Site of Lahore Fort and a master plan for the Lahore Museum.

Maryam brings fluency in design services and technology, as well as a deep familiarity with person-based heritage conservation planning.

Susan Lynch

Susan has over 12 years of experience in historic preservation projects and extensive training and experience in the NR nomination process, including preparing NR eligibility determinations and nominations. Her expertise encompasses research and fieldwork, cultural resources surveys, historic building rehabilitations, existing conditions assessments, preservation planning and ordinance administration, and educational programming. Susan also has significant experience and relationships consulting with the State Historic Preservation Office staff in New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, as well as with many regional organizations.

Susan also runs an architectural salvage business, Arena Sisters, with her sister Jenny (https://www.arenasisters.com).
